At Photomath, we believe learning math is a journey of growth filled with highs and lows, and we’re here to champion students along that adventure. Math is one of the few subjects where you get partial credit when you show your work because the process of learning matters.  

Over 8 years, our app has gotten over 300-million downloads globally making us the top math learning app in the world. How does it work? Users take a photo of a math problem through their phone’s camera and are then taught how to solve math problems through our detailed step-by-step explanations. 

About the Role

The Lifecycle Marketing Manager is a key member of Product Marketing and will report to the Brand and Product Marketing Lead. 

This is a highly impactful role where you’ll get to own the mapping of the parent and student journey and the communication framework for each audience group. You will create and execute mobile marketing campaigns that drive deeper product engagement, improve retention, and support monetization. We primarily use push, in-app, and SMS to speak with our users, but there’s room to add other relevant digital channels if you see a fit! To develop the appropriate messaging roadmap, this role will collaborate closely with Paid Acquisition, Growth Product, and Data Analytics to understand the entire user lifecyle.

What will you do? 

  • Drive execution of lifecycle marketing to onboard, retain, build loyalty and increase lifetime value by engaging customers with personalized, targeted, and relevant marketing at every stage

  • Improve message personalization at scale through insights-driven customer segmentation 

  • Collaborate with Product, Growth and Data teams to design, implement, measure, and iterate Photomath’s lifecycle strategies 

  • Ensure brand positioning alignment across messaging 

  • Develop customer retention through automated lifecycle journeys and one-off notifications 

  • Run A|B experiments optimizing conversions at every stage in our funnel

  • Define and report against core metrics for Photomath’s digital communication channels 

  • Document and socialize learnings, and develop next steps toward bigger wins

  • Participate in scaling messaging across new countries and regions

Who are you? 

  • A bachelor's degree or equivalent experience

  • 3+ years of lifecycle marketing, email marketing, or lead generation 

  • 2+ years experience developing and executing A/B tests, analyzing, and translating data into business and customer insights

  • Strong data analysis skills and ability to use both quantitative and qualitative means to map strategy, decisions, product iterations, and roadmap prioritization

  • Experience developing engaging lifecycle plans for a subscription service that involves multiple communication channels - email, push notification and in-app message plans.
